Lauren Ewing, MPH

Lauren Ewing combines a background in health policy with a passion for community advocacy. With experience ranging from Capitol Hill to leading initiatives at Highmark, Lauren brings a unique perspective on strategy and community engagement. Recognized as a "Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30" honoree and a leader in mental wellness, she's dedicated to improving both individual and community health. She recently joined the Reading Room Pittsburgh board to support their mission of fostering a love of reading and promoting health literacy in Pittsburgh. She is eager to leverage her skills in non-profit operations, fundraising, and strategic planning to help the organization grow. Beyond her dedication to reading, she is a Steering Committee Member for the Carnegie Connectors and a RAD Citizen's Advisory Board Member. A supporter of local culture, Lauren can often be found exploring Pittsburgh's museums, concert halls, and community events.
