Melissa Levitt Seldin, PhD

Melissa Seldin, PhD, is the founder of LevittSeldin Consulting, where she leads research, evaluation, and grant strategy projects for mission-driven organizations across the country. She is a data-driven researcher with over a decade of experience helping nonprofits and government agencies use evidence to drive meaningful outcomes in education, public health, and behavioral health.

Her past and current clients include the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, the Public Library Association, and Homewood Children’s Village. Through her work, she has helped secure major grants, assess the impact of public literacy campaigns, and guide national initiatives like SAMHSA’s “Talk. They Hear You.” youth mental health campaign.

Melissa earned her PhD in Political Science from the City University of New York Graduate Center and holds additional certifications in user experience research and visual storytelling. She is passionate about making data accessible, actionable, and equity-focused.
